Hi! 👋 I’m Kevin, a senior at Harvard studying Computer Science. I’m motivated by creating things that increase the conditions for life in a practical and sustainable way. Through this course, I’m interested in exploring how synthetic biology can intertwine with 1) climate tech for decarbonization and 2) better simulation for therapy discovery.
My first foray into synthetic biology was in high school, where I had the opportunity to work with a graduate student at a local university to try creating artificial red blood cells. This was one of the most ambitious things that I had seen possible, and it inspired me towards a field I hadn’t yet known existed: synthetic biology. Now I’m excited to delve deeper into the field of synthetic biology with everyone this semester! :)
Below will be a record of my journey throughout the course. 📝
