About

Caroline is a graduate student at MIT who is focused on developing microscopy techniques to image up to 100,000 zebrafish neurons simultaneously. Her research aims to uncover the relationship between olfactory stimulants, neural activity, affective states, decision-making, and behavior. Her background is in physics and mathematics and is also interested in microfluidic design and in-situ sequencing. Her goal is to advance the understanding of the brain and its functions.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Caroline is also a certified PADI scuba instructor and a passionate traveler (pre-pandemic). Recently, Caroline has also been working on improving her skiing skills and has been making time to hit the slopes this season.
